Multiple goals are not good!

Everyone is setting more than one goal or way to get ahead. Everyone wants to achieve success in more than one field, and that’s the main reason why 98% of people fail. So are multiple goals good? What if we set multiple goals? Will we fail if we set multiple goals? And what’s the solution? Okay, let's get answers…

        Table of contents

        1.      1. What are multiple goals?

        2.      2. Are multiple goals good?

        3.     3.  What if we set multiple goals?

        4.    4.   Will we fail if we set multiple goals?

        5.     5. Solution

        6.      6. Can you have multiple goals at once?

        7.      7. Conclusion

        What are multiple goals?

When we try to accomplish more than one goal at a time to save our energy and efforts, it is called multiple goals. Or, trying to complete more than one goal at a time are multiple goals.

        Are multiple goals good?

Basically, when we get to work, we set more than one goal. If we prepare for job’s we also analyze the other scopes present in a particular subject. If we go out to work, we start to thinking, what else can we do if we do not get it. We always divert our minds to the other possible scopes.

Instead of focusing on the current topic we start beating the bushes, and that’s the main the reason why 98% of people fail, to achieve something after so much hard work. I can’t understand that why don’t they focus on only one subject, instead of 2 or 3.

People make time table, that they will complete these-these work in this particular time. They don’t make time table that will provide them the perfect and suitable time to do work. Time table should be like this- that I will do this work in this time and that work in that time. This is the perfect time management.

There should be a separate time for even the minor work. Because people try to complete the two works at the same time, they lose their efficiency and then say that they had done the work with much better effectivity but got no results. They say that they had tried so much but they only got 10% or no result.

Most of the people prepare for jobs, they do not prepare for job, they prepare for jobs and that’s why they remain unemployed. Even when children were choosing their subjects in 11th class, they took medical with maths and maths with medical. How cool. They took math’s not because they have an interest in it but because there are many scopes in maths for their future.  Wow!

        Our extraordinary youth…!

Then when the time for proving them comes, they became unemployed. If I tell you the fact, 83% of educated Indians are unemployable. And then also they are demanding jobs. On which base they are demanding? Firstly, they should find their mistakes. And all this unemployability is major because of setting multiple goals. Rare out of rare people survive with multiple goals. Now you may have understood that are multiple goals good or not.

In my opinion, they are definitely not!

More than one goal at a time causes…

What if we set multiple goals?

In the above question you may have understood that multiple goals are not good, but what if we set multiple goals? Will we die? Definitely not. But there are many negative effects of multiple goals. See if we are focusing on more than one goal, we lose our potential.

Have a look at this example:- There were two boys, one was Rohan and the other was Mohan. Rohan was interested in medical science so he took biology as a career option. Mohan was also interested in medical sciences, but he was afraid of limited scopes and chose commerce as a career option and started preparing for two jobs.

Rohan got success and Mohan lag behind. So setting multiple goals is the same as driving two cars at the same time. So how efficiently can you drive two cars at the same time?

The next point is of self-confidence. So after losing jobs and chances of getting success, many individuals give up trying and sit quietly. They lose their confidence in them. They even do not try to stand up and that’s the main impact of a multigoal setting.

And after losing in the life they lose everything they have, their potential, their respect, their confidence, and everything. They even start considering themselves losers. And at last, they become the ordinary men, left to life. Whatever direction life will take them, they will go.

Okay, an average man in India lives about 25500 days, 70 years. And spend 20 years about 7300 days or even more in studying and chasing jobs. To become an expert of something, 10000 hours of practice is required. If I consider that a man in India studied only for 10 years and 4 hours a day and spent rest in chilling then also he spent 14,600 hours in studying. This means they have become the masters of their subject but Then also 83% of Indians are unemployable. And then those unemployed start demanding jobs, blaming their education system, their financial situation, etc.

And do you know what is the reason behind it? this is because of setting multiple goals.

Will we fail if we set multiple goals?

I have answered it in the above paragraph, chasing multiple goals at the same time is like driving two cars at the same time and I think there is no efficient born that can handle two cars at the same time. So simply its answer is yes, chasing multiple goals result in failure in about 99.5% of cases.

        Solution

So to get the solution, have an eye on this real-life example…

Edward C. Barnes, he wanted to be a business associate of Mr. Edison. But his pocket and his situation did not support him. For many people having no money, is the biggest problem and because of not having enough money most people give up trying and kill their dreams.

But Barnes was not among those. Mr. Edison was in London, so as to reach him he need money but he did not have a single penny. So, he went to London on a freight train with no money. On his way to Edison’s lab, his mind was at work, he was thinking that how will he present himself in front of great Edison.

His desire was not a hope, it was not a wish, it was a pulsating desire. It was definite. He did not become the business associate of Mr. Edison, the date he arrived. He had to start with the mere work Edison has provided him, but in his mind, he was with Edison every minute and second as his business associate.

And Barnes succeeded because he choose a definite goal, placed all his energy, all his willpower, all his efforts, and everything back of that goal. It was a definite desire that put him, work with Edison. He wanted to become the associate of Edison, more than he wanted anything else.

So he burned all the bridges behind him. He made his goal his dominating obsession of life. He did not say that “I will work here for few months, if I did not get encouragement, I will quit it and go for another.”

He did not say that “I will keep my eyes open for another opportunity, in case if I fail.” But he said there is one thing in this world I am determined to have and that is business associate with Mr. Edison. I will burn all the bridges behind me. He left himself with no possible way of retreat.

He had to win or perish! And that is the secret of success.

You may have got the idea and the solution. The main moral of this story is ‘ if you want to get success, make your dream your dominating obsession of life and leave yourself with no possible ways of retreat’.

Can you have multiple goals at once?

No, basically, multiple goals affect you in many negative ways. They can even affect your efficiency and effectiveness. They are the main cause of failures and are even above distractions. But if then also you are not convinced you can have multiple goals at once.

        Conclusion

Setting multiple goals are definitely not good. Only focusing on one goal can take anybody to success. Multiple goals are the basis of all problems so get ahead with one definite goal.

Gymnosperms- Meaning, Definition, Example For All.

GYMNOSPERMS Evolution:- Table Of Contents Gymnosperms were the first plants to evolve on earth. The earliest seed-like bodies were found in rocks of the upper Devonian series (about 382.7 million years to 358.9 million years ago). First, all seed plants were Heterosporus meaning two kinds of spores (microspores and megaspores) produced by sporophytes.    Fossil ovules discovered in Scotland suggest that integuments originated during the Mississippian subdivision of the Carboniferous period   (about 358.9 million to 323.2 million years ago). The ovules of  Genomosperma kidstonii,  for example, consisted of an elongated megasporangium with one functional megaspore and featured eight elongated fingerlike processes that loosely surrounded the megasporangium. In a related species,  G. latent , those eight fingerlike processes were fused at the base into a cup and covered the megasporangium rather closely.
